Terms & conditions terminology and definitions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in this yoga retreat organized by Gati Yoga and Yogazaz (“we”, “us” or “our”).
By booking and participating in “From Shores to Peaks” Yoga & Hiking retreat 2025, you (“Participant”, “you”, or “your”) agree to comply with these Terms. It is your responsibility to read and understand the terms and conditions before making any reservation.
Booking and payment
To reserve a spot to “From Shores to Peaks” Yoga & Hiking retreat 2025, a non refundable deposit of 350€ must be paid by each participant.
- The deposit is to be paid by bank transfer within seven working days (7) days after filling in the registration form, on our company’s bank account which will be communicated to you by email within 48 hours after filling in the form.
- The full payment (due amount) is to be paid at once in cash on arrival at the retreat’s location.
The retreat prices are charged per person and do NOT include flights to/from Greece, travel insurance and other expenses other than those stated on our website.
Guest Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made by participants are subject to the following conditions:
• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the retreat start date: Loss of deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 30 days before the retreat start date: Loss of full payment.
We do not offer credit for arriving late or leaving early.
Cancellation Policy for hosts
Yogazaz and Gati Yoga always caters for the best of their guests and canceling a retreat will always be the very last option. However, in the unlikely event that we need to cancel or make significant changes to our retreat (e.g., change in location, dates, or program), we will notify participants as soon as possible.
In such cases, participants will have the option to:
• Transfer to another available retreat date.
• Receive a full refund of payments made to us.
We shall not be liable for any additional expenses or losses incurred by participants as a result of such cancellations or changes, including but not limited to travel arrangements, visa fees, or other related costs.
Force Majeure
Yogazaz & Gati Yoga shall not be responsible for not fulfilling their contractual obligations to the extent that the failure to fulfil them is due to events outside its control, that is, force majeure events such as a pandemic, fire, flood, cancellation of flights or/and prohibition of sailing due to adverse weather conditions, war, acts of terrorism, riot, civil commotion, governmental actions (excluding regulatory change), labour disputes, and any similar events. In such force majeure events, you’re entitled to transfer your full payment to another scheduled retreat or request a refund of your payment.
Reservation of Right
Yogazaz and Gati Yoga reserve the right to make any changes deemed necessary to our retreats.
Health & Safety
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and medically fit to participate in the yoga retreat. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, please consult with your healthcare provider before booking.
Participants must inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements that may affect their participation in the retreat.
Travel insurance
All participants are required to have their own travel and health insurance that covers them for the duration of the retreat, including for all activities and excursions organised.
We shall not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, loss, or damage to personal property, or other unforeseen circumstances that may occur during the retreat.
Although we strongly encourage you to do so, you acknowledge that Yogazaz & Gati Yoga are not in the business of providing insurance products and cannot be held liable if your failure to arrange suitable insurance coverage leaves you exposed, medically, financially, or otherwise.

Passports, Visas and Documents
It is the responsibility of each guest to obtain a valid passport, visa(s) and necessary certificates for traveling to Greece.
General Waiver – Limitation of Liability
Participation in our yoga and hiking retreat involves physical activity and inherent risks. While we take all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our participants, we shall not be liable for any injuries, traumas, accidents, or damages that may occur during the retreat.
Although we will make all the reasonable efforts possible to minimise your exposure to any known risks, you acknowledge that we are not certified medical providers and that they therefore have no medical expertise to i) determine the effects of any specific activity or ii) give you detailed medical advice on a health issue you might have.
By participating in our retreat, you therefore acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with yoga practice, hiking and related activities, and agree to waive any claims against us arising from such risks.
You further understand and agree that, while we strive to promote integrity and a code of ethics in the context of this retreat, we are not responsible for the actions of those who also take part in this yoga retreat.
Changes to our terms and conditions
We keep the present Terms and Conditions under regular review and we reserve the right to amend or update the present Terms and Conditions at any time. The effective date is displayed above. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. To keep you informed of any changes to the present Terms and Conditions, we will notify you by email. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on our websites.
Disputes and applicable Law
Yogazaz & Gati Yoga and Participants shall make every effort, so that any difference, dispute or disagreement that may arise during the conclusion, interpretation and execution of the present Terms & Conditions, as well as claims related to them, is resolved out of court, with negotiations in a spirit of good faith within reasonable time after the date of the written expression of the disagreement by any of the parties.
If a difference is not resolved in this way, competent for its judicial resolution shall be the Courts of Brussels, Belgium, exclusively, which shall decide on any trials regarding the execution, and the Belgian law shall apply.
By booking into this retreat, you hereby certify that you have read and fully understood the present Terms & Conditions. You are fully aware that there is a release of liability included, and you accept and agree on your own free will to all Terms & Conditions and applicable rules stated above.
Finally, you acknowledge and agree that the personal data you share while completing the reservation form will be used by Yogazaz & Gati Yoga in a confidential manner, for organisational purposes and for your own well-being and security. This data will be kept for a period of 2 years after the retreat is held, unless you request for your data to be erased by writing to us a letter or email.
